Extracurricular is a Korean Young Adult drama with a difference. ‘Oh Jisoo’ is a mild mannered student by day and but at night he’s a risky hustler in control of a sordid phone app. As other students get mixed up in Jisoo’s scheme they head down a path that ends in a criminal world too dangerous for them to handle. Directed by Kim-Jin-Min this gripping 10 episode series sets a new bar for K Dramas on Netflix by pushing the boundaries of what topics are acceptable in young adult streaming shows.
