Making it pixel perfect

We partnered with Netflix Korea to bring the artwork for this movie into scary reality. The creative challenge was to show scary images while keeping the artwork ‘living room safe’ for all viewers. Suggesting horror and gore without showing it was required. Using silhouettes, illustrations and desaturating blood all helped make up a more acceptable view of the zombie apocalypse. Image compositing was needed to convey the troupes of the horror genre accurately and digital reworking of all images was necessary to make them pixel perfect.
